Lagarde Says ECB Will Decide on Digital Euro by Mid-2021

European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde said the ECB’s Governing Council will make a decision on whether to move forward with a digital currency by mid-2021, and that the process of rolling it out should be completed within four years. She made the comments during an interview with Bloomberg Television’s Francine Lacqua.
