Central African Republic Top Court Blocks Purchases with New Crypto

The CAR’s decision to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender came as a surprise to many. Unreliable electricity supply, lack of access to the internet, among others, led some to question whether the Central African Republic was the right country to test crypto adoption as a replacement to traditional forms of money.
